Day of Engaged Mindfulness
Saturday, March 7th 10AM - 1PM
Adelphi Mindfulness Center
Engaged Buddhism teaches us how to be deeply in touch with the world while remaining rooted and guided by our practice. In a time of violence, chaos, and conflict, our mindful and active presence can be a source of healing—for ourselves, our dear neighbors, and the world. How we arrive in each moment matters.
Through the teachings and practices of Thay, we learn to show up with peace, nonviolence, and courage. With a heart committed to building Beloved Community, we are called to be truly present with one another.
This event is open to all, so please feel free to invite friends. It will be in-person only. To help with planning please rsvp by emailing engaged@greenislandsangha.org
